<\/a>I am an entrepreneur and small business owner of two recycled clothing stores in Reno. I was elected to the Reno City Council in 2012 and believe government needs to help technology flourish. I am excited that Reno will be part of WordCamp and want to encourage much more events such as this. It\u2019s important to be accessible to people that use technology platforms such as WordPress \u00a0so that government has direction and understands the needs of the technology community.
\nMy goal is to host an accelerator at City Hall so Reno can attract and retain our technology sector. \u00a0Luring web warriors into our city is vital and I feel that WordCamp brings people together with the same interest in our community. We must set an example of how Reno has thriving talent and WordCamp certainly exemplifies this.
